About Linc

A local blood cancer charity that puts the patient at the heart of everything we do, Linc is a caring lifeline that delivers meaningful and significant outcomes. Hearing the news that you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer is a time of uncertainty, that’s why it’s our mission to support all those affected by the experience. Linc provides funding to help through this difficult time as well as leading medical assistance to strengthen a positive outlook and change lives.

Assisting patients across Gloucestershire, Hereford and South Worcestershire our two hubs at the Linc Outpatients Centre in Cheltenham General Hospital and Edward Jenner Unit at Gloucester Royal Hospital is a sanctuary for support, guidance and a helping hand when you need it most. Everyone’s journey is different, that’s why our personal approach offers empathy, encouragement and empowerment as we take each step together.

We not only fund a team of Clinical Psychologists, but we also fund clinical trial nurses who sit with the NHS Trust and look at ways patients could benefit from innovative medical treatments. Our dedicated fund specially reserved for blood cancer patients takes away the burden of financial worries for you and your family. From childcare costs to new clothes, rent payments, acupuncture or covering entry fees for a day out making the most of vital time together, no matter how big or small the gesture, we’re there.

How we help?

The road ahead may seem long for patients diagnosed with blood cancer and their families. Linc is committed to delivering information, reassurance and support through a wide range of means to ease the journey together. Embedded and working alongside the NHS, medical world clinical support teams champion our forward-thinking care. We put patients at ease by re-moving barriers to form long-lasting relationships.

How can you donate?

Without your kind donations, Linc wouldn’t be able to provide and sustain the work that we do. Whether you’re an individual, business, organisation, philanthropic group, or want to leave a gift in your will, all contributions are greatly received with gratitude.

How can you support?

At Linc we’re a team of enthusiastic, optimistic and driven people all with the same goal to improve blood cancer patients experience. Our growing group of volunteers is always open to additional individuals, families and friends, to help make a real impact in their local community. By donating your time, spreading the word of Linc, or choosing us as your Charity of the Year through your place of work , your support is hugely appreciated.
